塑殼斷路器以螺釘安裝為主，容易壓緊，接觸良好，運行穩定。而微型斷路器主要是通過導軌安裝，有時候由于力矩不夠而引發接觸不好。由于兩者不同的安裝方式，從而導致塑殼斷路器的安裝比小型斷路器更穩固，難度也更低。
